Parts required to build a gaming computer

If you love to play video games you must be knowing what a gaming computer is it's just a normal computer with some good expensive parts because gaming requires some high end hardware 

If you want to build a gaming computer and doesn't know how to do it so don't worry in this blog i will tell you how build a gaming computer 

If you think building a gaming computer is tough then you are wrong if you have proper knowledge and technique it is very easy and everyone can do it but it's a little time consuming

So here are the parts required a to build a gaming computer and how you will assemble them:

• Motherboard

So a motherboard is an important part of a computer as every other part is attached to the motherboard only it distributes the current to every other part of the computer and it contains the BIOS also known as Basic input and output system which is responsible for booting up a computer and also important in the functioning of the computer It contains various slots and ports in the other computer parts and hardware is attached so for building a computer motherboard is very essential

Before choosing and buying a motherboard you should keep various factors in mind like

• It should be compatible with your processor
• It should have enough ram slots to fulfill your needs and should have D-D-R-4 ram slots
• It should not be an outdated motherboard
• It should have the latest BIOS version 
• It should work with your power supply and should have a good power distributing capacity

 

• Processor

So a processor is also an important part of a computer and it the brain of the computer it takes input from the computer processes it and then returns the output 

Now if you are building a gaming computer you should keep in mind that there are various generations of processors available and there are two main brands of processors available among which you should opt for INTEL and AMD

So make sure you choose the brand and generation according to your need and work

You have to attach the processor to your motherboard this is not a difficult task as the motherboard has a slot for the processor you can read the manual or watch various tutorial videos available on the web on how to setup the processor

• Ram(Random access memory)

A Ram also known as Random access memory is a type of memory which the computer uses to store the data during a particular process it is type of a volatile memory that is it deletes the data when it has no use

If you are building a gaming computer than you should opt for a D-D-R-4 Ram as it is fast and efficient you should choose the storage according to your need whether you will require 4 gigabytes,8 gigabytes or more

For setting up a Ram your mother board will have a ram slot available you just have to pull out the clip put the ram in it and press it with enough force and push the clip read the manual or watch videos on the web for more details

• Power supply unit

A power supply unit is a part which supplies power from your switch board to your computers motherboard 

You should have enough units of power supply that it should be able to fulfill the needs of every part of the computer

For setting up a power supply you should read the manual and watch videos on the web as it is a very time consuming task

• Storage

Storage is necessary when you are building a gaming computer there are many types of storage devices available in the market but the two main devices which almost everybody use are HDD and SSD 

The difference between them is that that SSD is a bit Faster than HDD as it's a flash drive and HDD works on mechanical parts so you have to choose accordingly you can even choose a combination of both

Setting up of storage devices is not so hard and there are slots given to attach them as i mentioned you can read the manual or watch videos on the web for more details

• Graphic card

So if you are building a gaming computer graphics card is the most important part of the computer as it fulfills the graphical needs of the game and without it the game will lag and will not run properly

There are various graphic card available in the market of various brands and you should choose them according to your need 

Setting up a graphic card is a hard task and it requires proper guidance and knowledge so read the manual and watch videos on the web

• Cabinet

Once you have assembled all the parts of your motherboard then you will require a cabinet to put them in it a cabinet is the box in which all the parts are assembled and put it in it's the cabinet which decides the looks of your gaming computer so choose a good looking cabinet

• Monitor

Once you have build a gaming computer you will require a monitor for playing games and for video output 

Make sure you choose a decent monitor with good refresh rate and screen quality

• Peripherals

You will also require peripherals after building a gaming computer such as mouse,keyboard,headphones,controllers etc make sure you choose some decent peripherals which will help you while gaming

• Cooler(optional)

Although every processor comes with a stock cooler to cool down the processor but if you are building a gaming computer you should opt for a good liquid cooler or a good air cooler it will also help you in overclocking the computer

Setting up an air cooler is not a hard task you will understand it after you setup the processor but setting up a liquid cooler is a bit hard and time consuming

• Operating system

After every thing is done you will have to install an operating system such as windows,linux etc 

If you are building a gaming computer you should opt for windows as most of the games are available for windows only
